Product info:
Our cuffs are made from 0.5mm thick copper, which is slightly flexible, allowing for more adjustable fit.
The patina on this is cuff bracelet is caused by an artificial oxidisation of the metal, which Dunya conducts in her workshop in Torquay. Once the desired colour is achieved, Dunya neutralises the metal. After finishing / buffing the cuff, Dunya carefully varnishes these cuffs in 4 layers of highly-durable sealant, which not only protects the patina - but also makes this cuff hypoallergenic.
This stunning cuff bracelet will NOT stain your wrist!
Please note that whilst the varnish protects your skin and the patina, it is still a delicate item and not 100% scratch-resistant, so please look after your cuff!
Sizing info:
We offer a variety of sizes (for women and men) and two options of the width for our cuffs: 2.5cm and 3.5cm (pictured on the advert is the 3.5cm).
The average wrist size for women is 14cm- 17cm. For men, the average wrist size is 18cm - 20cm.
PLEASE NOTE that we consider sizes above our standard size L (i.e. above 18.5) as custom sizes, so a surcharge of $5 has been automatically applied.
Cuff sizing help:
For sizing, first, determine your wrist size:
Use a flexible measuring tape measure and wrap it snugly around your wrist just below the wrist bone.
Mark where the measuring tape overlaps on your wrist.
Next, determine the fit you would like:
Consider how snug or loose fitting you want your cuff bracelet. Most cuff bracelets - especially the wider ones - are intended to be worn relatively snug around your wrist, with a 2.5cm opening to put your hand through (as a pictured on the listing).
If you prefer to wear your cuff more loosely, like a bangle - order up to one or two sizes from your recommended size.
If you have a favourite cuff, you can also measure its circumference and email it through to us before ordering, so we can calculate the appropriate size of cuff for you, which would fit the same.
